LED Hallway

Patrons at Denver’s public campus for entrepreneurship, The Commons on Champa, enter through a hallway of light into the marquee event space. Movement creates feedback to the sensors, which translates them into video art – a menagerie of colors and shapes that disperse and reform in sync with guests’ passage through the corridor.

When visitors linger to discover the hallway’s capabilities, it responds in kind. When people stop to converse, the architectural geometry seems to sense the collaboration, designing its shapes to reflect the group relationship and illustrating the connections that form when we pause and reflect.
