We seek to depetrify the world
through connective experience

about
After 15 years, b1n4ry Visuals continues to push the boundaries of art, technology, and production design providing people memorable and engaging tech-enhanced experiences.
A decade and a half ago, the question arose: How do we make a change in complex systems seemingly outside our control? The namesake itself was born out of an answer that the moment to moment decision trees of yes or no, action or inaction, and the nodal reality of our place in the rhizome do indeed make changes all the time.
At our core, we are multimodal artists, makers, and technologists.
We love working in a variety of markets to contribute projects that include (and don't limit), projection mapping, LED and lighting design, production design, live concert visuals and lighting, architectural lighting, marketing activations, museum exhibitions, and much more.
b1n4ry excels at executing projects from the macro to the micro with ease and agility, allowing us to fit into a wide range of rolesβfrom being a small part of a larger team of collaborators to owning and delivering a project with autonomy.
We make the intersection of
art and technology
into a gorgeous terrace,
free from the bubbles of isolation that silo and divide us.
Our work is deeply rooted in concepts of xenofeminism, solarpunk, and glitch art, engaging participants in dynamic ways intended to leave them asking important questions about desire, the world we inhabit, the systems we are integrated into from birth, and how we can change orβif necessaryβ destroy them.
process
-
Let's Get to know each other, your desires and preferred outcomes, align on a strategy, and develop a concept we are all happy with.
-
Let's set the stage with a collaborative pre-production process with checkpoints, robust planning, and prototypes that create a framework for a successful production phase.
-
We take that robust framework and start to build, produce content, integrate technology, and leveraging our agility to build the project we set out to build. With comprehensive testing to squash bugs, try to break stuff, and fix anything that we succeed in doing so.
-
We load the project into the location and allowing the work before us to unfold to achieve a successful project. Installing, testing, operating and (if necessary) loading out and de-installing (or otherwise) maintaining for years to come.
-
We wrap things up nicely, reminisce on the victory, and note the ways we can improve for next time. We listen to feedback and provide our own so that we can continue to build the most magnificent experiences we can.
